Science Educator Workshop

Join natural resource and water quality professionals on May 29-30, 2025, for 17 contact hours focused on water resources. ODEW partnered with environmental professionals from ODNR and Ohio EPA to develop this workshop for high school science educators to connect water related science with real world applications. During the workshop, foundational information will be combined with engaging activities to incorporate into your classroom regarding water quality, water use and management, and wastewater operations. The workshop includes drinking water and wastewater facility tours, stream sampling field experiences and related classroom activities.

This immersive opportunity will take place at the Horace Collins Laboratory in Delaware, Ohio at Alum Creek State Park.
