The Excellence in STEM Partnership Award

The Ohio STEM Learning Network (OSLN) seeks to highlight excellence in STEM education through the OSLN Excellence in STEM Partnership Award.

Nominations for the 2025 award are now closed.

Both partner and school will be recognized at the Ohio STEM Innovation Summit on June 3, 2025. Along with being recognized at the Ohio STEM Summit, the partner and school will be invited to a celebration dinner and to apply to present at the 2026 statewide summit.

Eligibility

Nominations must be an established partnership that prioritizes a commitment to STEM education. 

We are seeking partnerships that demonstrate a passion for the advancement of STEM education in Ohio that leads to positive student learning outcomes to impact Ohio’s economic future. 

Partners may include:

  • industry partner,
  • higher education partner,
  • community partner,
  • or a partnership within the arts.

Additional Documentation

Two letters of support. These letters need to be from the following list:

  • A teacher from the partner school
  • An administrator from the partner school
  • A member of the governing body of the partner school/district
  • Nominated business partner 

Letters should be 500 words or less and give a description of the history and relationship between the partner and the school, the vision the partner has for STEM education, and the impacts the partnership has made on the students within their influence.

Timeline

  • Tuesday, March 5, 2025: Nominations close at 11:59p
  • Tuesday, March 25, 2025: Awardees notified
  • Monday, June 2, 2025: Awards granted and announced with celebration dinner
  • Tuesday, June 3, 2025: Awardees recognized at the 2025 Ohio STEM Innovation Summit

Award Submission Requirements

Must be completed by a school or district administrator, or a school partner representative.
