Dear Ohio Junior Science and Humanities Symposium (OJSHS) Participants,
It is with a heavy heart that we have come to the decision to cancel the upcoming 57th OJSHS at Bowling Green State University on March 11-13, 2020. In light of the confirmed Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Cuyahoga County, the executive order signed by Governor Mike DeWine declaring a state of emergency in Ohio, and after consultation with health professionals, we feel that it is in the best interest of our community to cancel the event.
We are working on alternative plans for OJSHS 2020 and will keep you informed as those plans develop. We truly appreciate all of the hard work students and teachers have put into their scientific research projects, and we congratulate you on your efforts. Please let us know if we can answer any questions.
