From the PAST Foundation: I want to do STEM/STEAM, so where do I start?

Let’s build a STEM Culture and create a hands-on experience for students in our classroom, identify community partners, and identify assessments in a STEM classroom.
If you want to begin implementing more inquiry in your classroom or are an experienced STEM instructor or want to refresh your curriculum join us in this cohort.
Teams of educators encouraged, but not required.

First meeting of the program will run August 14-15, 2023; 9am-2:30pm
Work collaboratively as a team with PAST instructional designers and teaching & learning specialists
Meet as a group four times during the cohort program.
August 14 & 15, 2023–1st convening 9-2:30
October 27, 2023–2nd convening–9-2:30
December 8, 2023–3rd convening–9-2:30
February 23, 2024–4th convening–9-2:30
Participants examine established standards and best practices in STEM instructional design; explore innovative ways for creating engaging and effective experiences; self-assess and peer-review each other’s courses.
