EnvisionEdPlus’ Designing High Quality Remote Learning Fall Cohort 1
09.19.2020 | 9:00 am - 10.3.2020 | 5:00 pm
EnvisionEdPlus is excited to announce a new virtual training geared to promote highly effective remote learning. We’ve collaborated with “Rock Star Remote Learning Teachers” to deliver this interactive, engaging, and FUN training that will help teachers think about themselves as instructional designers.
– Come prepared with an idea for a new remote learning lesson or – better yet – bring an existing lesson plan/unit that you have presented in-person but would like to adapt for use in a virtual environment.
– Learn best practices for remote learning and discover new ideas and strategies while collaborating with colleagues.
– Design (or redesign) your lesson and use a ‘tuning protocol’ to further improve your lesson.
– By the end of the 6-hour virtual learning experience, you will have a new lesson ready for fall that has been vetted by experts and colleagues.
Bonus: Hear other ideas for designing high quality remote learning!
Each cohort has one live virtual session (mandatory) and four virtual tasks that can be done anytime during the two-week course. The entire course will take about 6 hours (3-hour live virtual session and 3 hours completing virtual tasks.) Course evaluation must be completed to receive certificate.
COHORT 3: September 19 -October 3, 2020 (Sept 19 from 9 a.m. – noon is mandatory).
Participants will attend the MANDATORY 3-hour Zoom meeting on Day 1 (Sept 19). Then, participants will complete four virtual tasks at their own pace over the following two weeks using EnvisionEdPlus’ PDPlus digital learning platform. By the end of the experience participants will have created a new lesson, ready to use right away that has been vetted by experts and shared with other teachers.
Individual teachers, groups of teachers, schools, or districts can participate in this training.
Training Cost: $200 per participant (FREE to Sebring Local School teachers – use coupon code ‘sebring’)
