DriveOhio Toolkit Tuesday Webinar: Exploring Transportation with LEGO® Education

DriveOhio, an initiative of the Ohio Department of Transportation, hosts a free “Toolkit Tuesday” webinar series to support K-12 educator professional development, focused on implementation of the DriveOhio Educator Toolkit.

In this episode, we’ll explore the intersection of creativity and transportation with our special guests from LEGO® Education! Learn about free standards-aligned curriculum from the LEGO® team focused on smart mobility career pathways!

Alongside DriveOhio, an initiative created by the Ohio Department of Transportation and supported by Ohio Department of Education & Workforce, LEGO® Education has created an alignment of lesson plans and experiences to be included in the DriveOhio Educator Toolkit, accessible throughout the state of Ohio to promote and foster exploration for K-12 and Career Technical educators and stakeholders to facilitate STEM education and career exploration and outreach. Key alignments in the toolkit include activities that highlight automated vehicles, delivery robots, smart city planning, electric vehicles and charging stations, and connected vehicles and intersections.

This webinar will highlight the collaboration between DriveOhio and LEGO® Education, encourage more downloads and use of the DriveOhio Educator Toolkit, showcase where the Toolkit can live within a school day, and the wide range of impact it has on student exploration and success.
