Ohio DNR geologist and paleontologist Molly Hunt will take teachers back in time to ancient Ohio! Learn about past Ohio environments and the science that helps uncover how they helped to develop what we see today.
Middle and high school STEM teachers will:

Get introduced to Ohio’s paleoenvironments.

  • Understand the correlation between the Devonian period and Ohio’s geology responsible for our natural energy production.
  • Explore the processes responsible for natural gas and oil formation
