Show your students that math is about more than just numbers with this free real-world problem-solving competition for grades 5-8! The Hardest Math Problem. 
The Contest combines mathematical reasoning with writing skills to challenge students with relevant, engaging, multi-step story problems. Winners receive a new laptop, $3000 toward a 529 college savings plan, and teacher gift cards! The 2023-2024 Hardest Math Problem Contest is open for registration starting September 18, 2023 but you can join us for a free information webinar on August 23, 2023 starting at 6:00 PM ET.
We will walk you through what it looks like to participate in the contest and you can have your questions answered by a live team.
The webinar and contest are open to all students in the United States and its territories.
