The Junior Science and Humanities Symposia (JSHS) Program is jointly sponsored by the United States Departments of the Army, Navy, and Air Force, in cooperation with leading research universities throughout the nation.Registration for the Ohio Junior Science and Humanities Symposium closes on February 21. The event will be held at Bowling Green State University on March 16 – 18. This program is annually hosted by Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.
During the Symposium, students in grades 7 – 12 will present their research and have the opportunity to interact with their peers and with distinguished faculty from BGSU, University of Toledo, Lourdes University, and several other organizations. This competition brings some of the most accomplished and remarkable middle and high school students in the state to present and celebrate their amazing research accomplishments with their peers, faculty, families, and friends.
A total of $4,500 in undergraduate tuition scholarships is awarded, and five students will receive expense-paid trips to compete in the national competition.
