WHAT IS LOGISTICS ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY?
Logistics Engineering Technology (LET) is a new multidisciplinary
program combining logistics, engineering, and information technology. Logistics engineering plays an important role in helping business improve the efficiency and productivity of their systems and supply chains. The program focuses on how the infusion of advances in robotics, data analytics, and new technologies is revolutionizing supply

– Students interested in exploring STEM careers
– Increase your awareness and interest of STEM related
– Develop critical college success skills to facilitate a smooth transition to college
– Earn a $250 stipend for successfully completing the summer camp

WHAT IS THE COST?
The LET Early College Experience is cost-free to participants and limited to 35 students. Additionally, students who successfully complete the LET Early College Experience will receive a $250 stipend to support future academic and career goals. Funding for this program is provided by the National Science Foundation. Students are asked to pack a lunch and snacks for each day of the camp.
HOW DO STUDENTS TRAVEL TO LET EARLY COLLEGE EXPERINECE?
Students and parents are responsible for providing transportation to and from Columbus State Community College each day. Parking passes will be provided for students interested in parking on-campus. Columbus State will provide bus transportation to tour an automated distribution center.

-Priority given to students who have not previously participated in this summer camp.
Application Requirements: Students are encouraged to apply by May 14, 2018.
-Completed application form.
-Current high school transcript. Unofficial copies are acceptable.
-Letter of recommendation printed on school letterhead from a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics teacher or school counselor.
-One short-essay response.
