Fall 2024 Classroom Grant Awards

Grants for classrooms building Ohio's next STEM innovators

On October 15, 2024, Battelle and the Ohio STEM Learning Network (OSLN) announced a fourth set of awards totaling $1,160,000 to enhance STEM learning in classrooms across Ohio. This round of funding for the 2024-2025 school year supports a total of 248 projects with more than $1.16 million from Battelle.

The OSLN STEM Classroom Grant Program launched in 2021 with funding from Battelle to foster the growth of the Ohio STEM Learning Network and quality STEM education in Ohio.

Key facts about the Fall 2024 awards

  • Open to all Ohio public schools with a qualifying fiscal agent
  • 248 projects reaching more than 69,000 students
  • $1,160,000 in funding from Battelle
  • Awards to 197 public schools and 144 school districts in 67 counties. 
  • In total, students in one of five districts statewide will benefit from the awards.
