Celebrating Ohio’s Fall STEM School Spotlights

Educators, school leaders, higher education partners, and community organizations from across Ohio had the opportunity to step inside some of the state’s most innovative STEM and STEAM schools this past fall. These visits offered participants a firsthand look at authentic STEM teaching and learning, purposeful partnerships, and the deep culture of inquiry that drives each of these schools.

Your willingness to share successes, challenges, and day-to-day practices strengthens the entire statewide STEM network and helps more schools move toward high-quality, equitable STEM education. Thank you!

Fall 2025 Spotlight Schools

Educators toured classrooms and engaged with leaders at:

  • Marysville STEM Early College High School: Central Ohio Hub
  • Hawkins STEMM Academy: Northwest Ohio Hub
  • Valley STEM +ME2 Academy: Akron Hub
  • The Dayton Regional STEM Schools: Dayton Hub
  • St. Joseph Parish School: Northeast Ohio Hub
  • Hughes STEM High School: Southwest Ohio Hub
  • Tri-State STEM+M School: Southeast Ohio Hub

Across these seven hubs, participants explored problem-based learning, interdisciplinary STEM instruction, community-embedded experiences, and the systems and structures that make high-quality STEM possible.

Many left inspired to implement new strategies, strengthen partnerships, or rethink how STEM learning can be designed for their students.

Looking Ahead: Spring Spotlight Tours
