07.21.2025 | 9:00 am - 4:45 pm
The Environmental Professionals Network (EPN) invites educators, environmental professionals, and program leaders to the 2025 EPN Field Trip: “From Classroom to Career”, a dynamic, hands-on event designed to build pathways for K–12th grade students into environmental careers.
Starting at 9AM, this full-day program begins at the Nationwide and Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center and includes a site visit to Columbus City School District’s Spruce Run Nature Center in the afternoon. Participants will hear from award-winning educators and leaders in environmental education, engage in hands-on sessions led by Ohio-based environmental organizations, and connect with professionals who are shaping the future of sustainability and STEM-focused student learning.
Rotating breakout sessions will offer opportunities for field-based exploration, professional networking, and in-depth exposure to established environmental education programs such as Project WET, Project Learning Tree, and Project Wild.
K-12 Classroom Educators may register for free, and may be eligible for mileage reimbursement. Contact hours certificates will be available for educators attending in person. Professional registration is $25, and the Virtual Livestream of the morning session is free. Event details and registration can be found at: go.osu.edu/epnjuly25.
