Desafiando el Riesgo – A Math Case Competition

Desafiando el Riesgo is a competition by the Organization of Latino Actuaries (OLA). High school students in the U.S. with an interest in STEM are invited to get a deeper look at risk management, hone their problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, and get connected to OLA’s career development resources and network.

During the two-week virtual competition, students investigate a real-world scenario and formulate their own data-driven solutions to problems. They then submit their case responses for a chance to win up to $3,000 in scholarship money and recognition! Registration for this competition opens August 4 and closes January 25th.
