Computer Science Education Week

MakerX.org is a free community event for ages 4-104 celebrating making with technology, including robotics and drones, 3D printing, sci-fi cosplay/fashion tech, digital art and music, game and VR development, software and media creation, high tech transportation, manufacturing, construction, ag tech and much more in coordination with HourofCode.org, CSforAll & Ohio Linux Festival.

In-person or online, join in kicking off CSED Week in Ohio & beyond.

MakerX 2021 is a hybrid event with both statewide virtual and smaller in-person activities at local libraries, schools, nonprofits, and businesses.

They are currently accepting applications for BOTH virtual MakerX 2021 activities AND in-person tours, demos, or other activities hosted by organizations like yours

Please use this form to submit your application to exhibit virtually in 2021 and/or to provide in-person activities hosted by you at your location.

Exhibitions might be:

• tours of makerspaces, innovation labs, tech studios, manufacturing/construction sites, or any creative space
• demos of tools, practices, or processes
• talks on tech or makerspaces, tech careers, or related maker content
• performances, installations, murals, or other creative or career content

Applications for MakerX are DUE by November 1, 2021

Join them for a statewide virtual celebration or build your own event on 12/4/21

There is no cost to participating.
