BioPathways 1 Day Workshop

Every student is directly affected by Ohio’s life science industry, whether it’s through their own personal health, the health of a loved one, or the ambition to pursue a career in life sciences.

Teachers: level up your understanding of life sciences career skills and industry trends. Collaborate with bioscience experts from Ohio Life Sciences during our 1 Day teacher workshop.

Designed for teachers of Biology, AP Biology, Biotech, and 8th grade science, along with others interested in learning more about life sciences careers in Ohio, this workshop explores concepts aligned with state standards that equip students for careers in life sciences.

As a result of this workshop, you’ll:

• Know… how to teach design thinking
• Understand… bioinformatics teaching techniques and industry career paths
• Be able to… guide students in modeling protein synthesis, expressing proteins, and purifying proteins

We treat participants to lunch with industry experts, where they’ll share trends and insights to prepare your students for high-caliber careers in life sciences.
