Bio-Med Science Academy cultivates academic excellence by nurturing critical-thinking skills, student collaboration, creativity and a sense of community. We deliver a unique learning experience to students from diverse communities through hands-on, inquiry-based, and interdisciplinary curriculum. We are a conduit for creating global-minded professionals. Uniquely positioned as one of only eight Independent Public STEM Schools in the state, we empower students to thrive in a global society by cultivating empathy and communication skills through collaborative work and community building. At Bio-Med, STEM is not a specific body of knowledge. Rather, it’s a process that can be applied to any subject, any problem, anything the real world throws at you.

Visitors will learn about how Bio-Med creates opportunities for students to learn differently. Our STEM-based approach embraces interdisciplinary and differentiated education, creating authentic learning opportunities enriched by professional partnerships. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour our facility and understand how flexible learning spaces, teacher autonomy, real world problem solving and high student engagement creates an amazing learning experience.
