Southeast Ohio Hub

Southeast hub on map of Ohio

The Southeast Ohio Virtual STEMM Hub works to collaboratively create a Virtual STEMM Platform increasing access to dual enrollment courses for high school students, provide high-quality professional development for educators and business and industry, and promote STEMM-related resources and promising practices to be shared across Appalachian Ohio. OSLN is invested in the success of STEM education in the SE Ohio region and continues to support emerging STEM efforts.

Design Principles

The SE Ohio STEMM Hub  is committed to:

  • Appalachian Ohio: Encouraging the development of regional assets, drawing on our unique advantages to grow our region’s talent and opportunities.
  • Inclusivity: Designing the Platform to have a regional scope providing access to educational opportunities for all students.
  • Collaboration: Cultivating partnerships across sectors to encourage diverse points of view and deepen Platform capacity.
  • Encouragement: Sparking curiosity, interest, and academic and career confidence in our region’s students.
  • Sustainability: Advancing a catalytic Platform that will continue to provide educational and economic value.

Educators in the SE Ohio region interested in STEM-related professional development or in-person training on effective STEM teaching and learning strategies, may contact the SE Ohio STEMM Hub or one of OSLN’s regional training center sites.
