Northwest Hub: Fall School Tour at Waterville Primary School

Join us for a STEAM school spotlight visit to Waterville Primary School (457 Sycamore Ln, Waterville, OH 43566) on Tuesday, October 13th, 2026, from 9:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m.

During the visit, participants will explore how Waterville Primary School — a state-of-the-art STEAM-designated school, creates rich, interdisciplinary learning experiences through project-based learning and design thinking. The tour will highlight how Waterville Primary blends STEM, creative arts, and exploratory learning with hands-on experiences, including instruction in an outdoor prairie classroom.

Key strengths of Waterville Primary include:

• a strong culture of collaboration and innovation that supports inclusive, student-centered learning where students are encouraged to learn and grow through engaging hands-on lessons, exciting technology, and opportunities for leadership and service.
• exciting learning spaces for students including a native prairie, an outdoor land lab, and a makerspace lab for 3D printing, robotics and other STEAM-related exploration.
• staff dedicated to providing enriching educational experiences that not only meet content standards but also offer opportunities to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

The Spotlight Visit is open to educators, administrators, aspiring STEM/STEAM schools, industry and higher education partners, and local and state leaders.
