The 2026 Ohio STEM Innovation Summit is right around the corner, and the Ohio STEM Learning Network is excited to welcome enthusiastic members of our community to serve on the Summit Hospitality Team.
Joining the Hospitality Team is a great way to experience the Summit from a new perspective, meet fellow STEM educators, and contribute to an event that brings together passionate leaders from across Ohio. Each year, our Hospitality Team helps shape the warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes the Summit such a meaningful gathering, and we’d love for you to be part of it.
All selected Hospitality Team members receive complimentary Summit registration and a free Summit t‑shirt as a thank-you for their support.
Help create a welcoming experience
Hospitality Team members play a key role in setting the tone for the day by ensuring that educators, partners, and guests feel supported and connected from the moment they arrive. If you enjoy helping others and being part of a positive, collaborative team, this is a wonderful opportunity to get involved.
Team members may assist in a variety of hospitality roles throughout the day, including:
- Registration: Welcoming attendees as they arrive, checking them in, and helping distribute materials.
- Greeter and Guide: Offering a friendly welcome, answering questions, and directing participants to key locations and breakout sessions.
- Swag Assistant: Helping organize and distribute swag or materials at designated times and locations.
- Hall of Inspiration: Assisting presenters with setup needs and guiding attendees through the Hall.
- Attendee Engagement Experience: Encouraging participation in activities, helping create an inviting atmosphere, and supporting hands‑on or interactive elements.
- Session Monitor: Taking attendance counts, monitoring room flow, supporting presenters with basic needs, and helping maintain schedule timing.
- Any of the Above! Jumping in wherever support is most needed throughout the day
