Naz Kavak is a STEM Relationship Manager for the Ohio STEM Learning Network.

Naz Kavak leads statewide educator development and school-improvement initiatives for Battelle Education, helping teachers, schools, and STEM partners create meaningful STEM learning experiences. She designs and leads professional learning experiences and educator cohorts, manages statewide programs, and works closely with schools, ESCs, hubs, industry partners, and statewide organizations to build strong partnerships and create practical opportunities for students and educators.

As a former English language arts and social studies teacher, Naz brings an educator’s perspective to everything she does. She is especially passionate about building relationships and helping educators feel comfortable trying something new. Her work has included support for programs such as Ignite Computer Science, the STEM Rural Ohio Fellowship, the Army Education Outreach Program, the OSLN Statewide Design Challenge, and Metro Model teacher training.

Naz holds a Master of Education degree and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Communications from The Ohio State University. Outside of work, she enjoys thrifting, traveling, and spending time with her family.
