Ashland Christian School is a Pre-K – 8 STEAM School in Ashland County. They are a leader through the Arts and Humanities by focusing engagement with community partners involving Bible, art, dance, history/archaeology, and social behavioral sciences. The Christian Worldview is the backbone of ACS with STEAM education because it facilitates curiosity for the world through biblical guidance. The Christian Worldview encompasses the framework and biblical guidelines on how individuals should conduct themselves. Students may select career pathways through medical, environmental, technology, and humanitarian options with community partners (University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center, NOAA, Next Generation Films, the Mayor of Ashland City, and Ashland City engineers). ACS also has an elementary internship program that gives students work experience by implementing the school compost project and helping the homeless through the ACCESS program. As geospatial leaders in Ohio, ACS provides GIS (geographical information systems) professional development at a local and national level.
