SUMMARY:The Building Blocks of Computer Science
DESCRIPTION:TECH CORPS and the Teaching & Learning Collaborative are  partnering to provide FREE professional development for informal educators working with children in Grades 3-8. During this full-day session\, you will gain valuable strategies and resources for implementing “unplugged” technology activities with students. No devices are required\, allowing you to creatively explore key concepts and activities. \nSelected participants will:\n– gain strategies for implementing computer science (CS) activities\n– obtain Ohio Approved credit\n– receive a $100 stipend for completing the lessons with students and returning student surveys\n– have opportunities to participate in a CS-focused Community of Practice and additional PD sessions \nWho should apply?\nOhio out-of-school time providers who serve students in Grades 3-8.\nThis session is for practitioners\, not administrators.\nRegister by September 17th.
