Teachers will learn the fundamentals of the Literacy Design Collaborative (LDC) College Ready Tools (CRT) and how those tools can be used across disciplines to improve literacy strategies. Each participant will create a teaching module to be implemented within their own classrooms. The LDC CRT is designed to improve student literacy skills and to prepare students for success in college and in the work place.  The Common Core State Standards for Reading and Writing serve as the foundation of the tool. This is a two-day training introducing participants to the foundational components of problem-based learning.
