DESCRIPTION:About the tour \nJoin us for a STEAM school spotlight visit to Hull Prairie Intermediate School (HPI)\, hosted by the NW Ohio STEM Hub\, on Wednesday\, April 15\, 2026\, from 8:00–10:00 a.m. \nDuring the visit\, participants will explore how Hull Prairie Intermediate— a state-of-the-art STEAM school serving grades 5 and 6—creates rich\, interdisciplinary learning experiences through project-based learning and design thinking. The tour will highlight how HPI blends STEM\, creative arts\, and exploratory learning with hands-on experiences\, including instruction in an outdoor prairie classroom and robust music programs. \nLocation: Hull Prairie Intermediate School\, 25480 Hull Prairie Rd\, Perrysburg\, OH 43551 \nAbout the school \nHull Prairie Intermediate is a STEAM standout. \nOpened in 2017 and serving Perrysburg 5th and 6th graders\, Hull Prairie Intermediate is part of the Northwest Ohio OSLN Regional Hub and is recognized for its collaborative culture and innovative STEAM approach. \nKey strengths of Hull Prairie include: \n\nA strong culture of collaboration and innovation that supports inclusive\, student-centered learning\nInterdisciplinary\, real-world project-based learning strengthened through design thinking and authentic audiences\nPowerful hands-on learning environments\, including an outdoor prairie classroom and rich creative arts offerings such as Band\, Orchestra\, and Vocal Music\n\nWith strong partnerships and hands-on learning\, Hull Prairie helps students explore\, create\, and lead. \nIntended audience \nOpen to educators\, administrators\, aspiring STEM/STEAM schools\, industry and higher education partners\, and local and state leaders.\nVisitor capacity: 20.
