Safer Science Summit

FREE FOR TEACHERS! The K-12 STEAM Safer Science Summit is an immersive event focused on enhancing the understanding of government and state lab safety regulations and the compliance with and implementation of safety protocols within STEAM education environments.

What you get to experience:

• Immersive workshop with breakout sessions for teachers (grades 6-12) and higher-ed faculty
• “Train-the-trainer” day for lab inspections and chemical management systems
• Hands-on lab demonstrations
• Safety in Leadership workshop for administrators

What to know:

• Registration is FREE for teachers (grades 6-12)
• Registration is DISCOUNTED for college/university faculty
• You don’t have to attend the entire week
• Travel and lodging should be arranged and funded individually

We are currently raising funds to support:

• Stipends for teachers (grades 6-12)
• Childcare reimbursement
• Parking
• Food
• Other essentials
• (Stipends and reimbursements are dependent on available funding.)
