The Manufacturing Advocacy and Growth Network (MAGNET) has partnered with five high schools, three community colleges, and 11 local manufacturing companies to help solve the manufacturing skills gap and pipeline challenges of Northeast Ohio. MAGNET’s Early College, Early Career program takes students inside manufacturing companies. Over 1,200 high school students have learned about manufacturing careers through this program. |Dr. Terrence Robinson is the Vice-President of Workforce Development & Economic Inclusion at MAGNET. He designs strategic solutions to meet the workforce demands of manufacturers across Northeast Ohio. MakerMinded is an online STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) learning and educational activity platform where students learn about advanced manufacturing and find transformational STEM learning experiences that set them on track towards advanced manufacturing careers.
