Operation Graduation 2.0

08.4.2020 | 9:00 am - 3:30 pm

Ohio’s new graduation requirements are game changers for EVERY Ohio High School.

Personalized graduation plans that emphasize career readiness, including expanded opportunities for students to earn industry recognized credentials, participate in extensive work-based learning and access registered pre-apprenticeships are becoming ESSENTIAL to earning a high school diploma in Ohio.

EnvisionEdPlus is partnering with educational service centers and school districts across Ohio to offer our Operation Graduation Design Lab 2.0. We have created the agenda and content with the help of Ohio Department of Education staff.

Join us for OGDL 2.0 as we convene high school teams throughout the state to:

  • Clarify ODE’s final guidance on graduation requirements, diploma seals and at-risk policy/graduation plan expectations;
  • Understand the different graduation options for the Classes of 2021, 2022, 2023 and beyond;
  • Discover ways to develop or expand career and college pathways, industry credentials and apprenticeships in traditional high school settings that are essential for successful implementation; and,
  • Complete implementation plans that build on local strengths and create new opportunities preparing EACH student for career and college success.
