Provided by the Ohio STEM Learning Network (OSLN)-Akron Hub, this three-day, 21st Century learning professional experience focuses on designing a digitally informed environment of collaboration among learners. Visual art, information literacy, and technology standards integrate to support learning using creative and critical thinking in PBL, STEM, research, and technology, as well as inquiry settings in all content areas.
This course sets the stage for the use of technology, internet, research applications, instructional tools, and Web 2.0 presentation resources. Working in a collaborative environment, participants will be able to directly translate these techniques and tools into their classroom setting.
Participants will discover how to:
$475 per participant includes lunch and materials, including textbook and year-long access to online course materials
2 graduate credit hours available through the University of Akron for $350 or 2.4 continuing education units are available upon workshop completion.
