Manufacturing and Engineering Teacher Externship Applications due April 23, 2021!
The Manufacturing and Engineering Externship Program (MEEP) is back! Educators should apply now to join a cohort experience running summer through fall of 2021. MEEP seeks to address the growing STEM skills gap in the manufacturing and engineering sectors by engaging Ohio teachers in paid summer externships with local companies in STEM industries
The applicant must be an Ohio K-12 teacher. Teachers can apply individually or in teams of two from their school. Each applicant should submit his or her application.

To meet the growing demand for STEM professional development, we equipped and developed eight regional STEM training centers across the state. Each training center is designed to highlight the strengths of the STEM platform schools in that region and provide a vehicle to spread STEM effective practices across Ohio.
Example training topics include problem- and project-based learning, intersessions, ASSISTments, FAB LAB, student-led conferences, STEM school design and development, technology integration, mastery and college ready tools.
