The Ohio Department of Education has set up a series of virtual meetings for content area teachers. Through these meetings, you can connect with other teachers as we all work to support students learning remotely. Sessions will focus on a broad range of topics and strategies and resources, depending on the content area. The full list of virtual meetings is below.
We’re especially excited about two upcoming sessions: On Thursday, April 9th OTEEA will be sharing resources on Technology, Design and STEM, and on April 22nd, the Ohio Department of Education’s John Wiseman will facilitate a Computer Science session focused on Industry Credentials, Professional Development for teachers and Offline resources.

Will these virtual meetings be ongoing? Also, I am interested in 8th grade Social Studies (in STEM school). Thanks!
Hi Ms. Royko, we passed your question on to Sherry Birchem, Director of Learning and Instructional Strategies for the Ohio Department of Education. She said: “We will continue to have these meetups. They have been extremely successful and we are looking forward to hearing from the education community on topics they may find of interest. I will be sure to share the request with our team! The best way to check for new topics/dates is on our resources page – http://education.ohio.gov/Topics/Learning-in-Ohio/OLS-Graphic-Sections/Resources”
So definitely! Thanks for your question, Rob at Battelle.
Will there be a way to access the meeting content after the meetings?
