STEM Designation 101: Showing the best of your school

A free webinar on applying for STEM designation (under Ohio Revised Code 3326) will be held on Friday, February 27, 9:30-10:30 AM. Register by Wednesday, February 25th to hold your spot.

STEM school designation can open up new opportunities for a school. Applications for designation are reviewed by a panel of representatives from key state agencies and the Ohio General Assembly. This page from the Ohio Department of Education provides more details on how to apply.

Our team at the Ohio STEM Learning Network is proud to serve as an adviser to the Ohio STEM Committee. We also provide hands-on guidance to aspiring STEM schools and support a network of innovative teachers and leaders.

Webinar panelists include:

  • principals who led schools through the designation process,
  • a representative of the Ohio Department of Education,
  • and other policy experts

Webinar participants will learn key tips for creating a competitive application for STEM School Designation. Experts from approved Ohio STEM schools and the Ohio STEM Learning Network will review frequently asked questions, the advantages of STEM designation, and common mistakes to avoid.

Register for the webinar by Feb. 25
