Hi teachers, we wanted to let you know about an easy opportunity to help out a longtime partner of STEM in Ohio, the Literacy Design Collaborative.
The group works to make it easier for teachers to tackle literacy gaps in student learning in all kinds of classes, from science to social studies. They do this through free online resources where teachers can see how to integrate literacy into their discipline. For example, a science teacher could find all the resources for a lesson where kids write a lab report – building science-specific reading and writing skills while helping the core content stick.
The Literacy Design Collaborative is looking for teachers to complete a quick survey about their resources and you might just win a gift card for participating.
You’ll also be helping out a long-time partner and supporter of STEM in Ohio. Working with top-notch teacher-trainers from our network, support from the group has allowed us to train more than 500 Ohio teachers in their approach. Details on the survey are below. To fill it out, click here or the image to the right.
LDC (the Literacy Design Collaborative) is gathering feedback from teachers in the field to help guide the design of free online teacher resources that will enable educators to support students meeting college and/or career ready skills. Data from this survey will only be used in the aggregate and you will not be identified.
Please contribute to this work by teachers for teachers by completing this survey so we can better understand your day-to-day workflow, challenges, and needs. It should take about 15 minutes to complete.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU? LDC tools and resources are free for any K-12 teacher to use, and help teachers improve their practice and achieve better results with their students. Your responses to this survey will help guide the design of those tools.
RIGHT, BUT WHAT ELSE? Ten lucky teachers who complete the survey by January 15th will win a $50 Amazon gift card!
